Description

The following table presents the frequencies, irreducible representations and animations for a cube made of anisotropic silver (C₁₁=122.27, C₁₂=91.77, C₄₄=46.06 GPa and ρ=10.5g/cm³). The faces of the cube are parallel to the faces of the cubic units cells of the atomic lattice of silver.

The edge of the cube is d=10 nm but this value can be modified below.
Modes 0 to 5 are the 6 zero-frequency rigid body translations and rotations. They are not shown here.
Irreducible representations were determined according to the character table for the O_h point group (for example, see here). Raman active modes are indicated.
The number in the last column is the variation of the volume of the cube during the vibration normalized so that the largest value is 100%.
